Ray Castellino on Infant & Toddler Sleep

One of the greatest struggles new parents find themselves facing is getting enough sleep. As our children grow, we may find that sleep problems don’t go away, they just evolve. The Consciously Parenting Project is excited to have Raymond Castellino join us to help explain sleep issues and find ways to resolve them. Come listen as we explore explanations and suggestions for healing that are anything but typical.
Raymond Castellino, DC (retired), RPP, RPE, RCST®, draws on almost four decades of experience as an internationally known natural health care practitioner, consultant and teacher. His current practice focuses on the resolution of prenatal, birth and other early trauma / stress.
Dr. Castellino is currently involved in three major projects: He is co-founder About Connections (www.aboutconnections.com) with homebirth midwife Mary Jackson where they prepare families for birth, support the birth process, and do follow-up integration. The methods they have developed have reduced homebirth transfers to the hospital from 20% to 3% in over 100 births. They also work with families and individuals of all ages to resolve the effects of early imprinting. He is the Clinical Director of Building and Enhancing Bonding and Attachment (www.beba.org), a non-profit research clinic in Santa Barbara devoted to strengthening the bonds between babies/children and their parents and optimizing children’s physical, emotional and mental development. He is founder and director of a 2 ½ year professional training (www.castellinotraining.com) on the work he has developed in BEBA and with Mary Jackson in About Connections.
Dr. Castellino is on the adjunct faculty of the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute, which offers masters and doctorates in both Pre- and Peri-natal Psychology and Somatic Psychology; he is a frequent presenter at national conferences including the Association for Pre- & Peri-natal Psychology and Health, the American Polarity Therapy Association, the Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America and others. He was a founding board member of the Alliance for Transforming the Lives of Children.
He has been practicing and teaching prenatal and birth therapy since 1993.
